Player Bio
Luciana “Luci” Ferraro began her journey in baseball at the age of 6, where her natural talent for hitting quickly stood out. From the start, she demonstrated strong contact ability paired with emerging power at the plate.
(Luci one hopped a 200 ft fence playing baseball at age 8. She did it again at age 9)
At age 8, Luci transitioned to softball and immediately brought her power bat with her. She dual enrolled continuing to play baseball at the same time until she was 9.
Around the same time, she discovered a passion for pitching and has been developing as a two-way athlete ever since.
Luci pitched her first 14U inning at just 10 years old, striking out the side with poise beyond her years. Since then, she has competed at the 10U, 12U, and 14U levels in various competitive environments, including USSSA B and PGF tournaments. During the 2025 season, Luci struck out her 513th batter for her career.
Offensively, Luci is known for her over-the-fence power and consistent ability to drive in runs. In the Fall 2024 season with the Ravens, she recorded only one strikeout in 51 plate appearances, a feat she also achieved during the Summer 2023 season with the Sweepers, also in 51 plate appearances.
Luci continues to grow as a pitcher and hitter, consistently showing discipline, power, and leadership on the field.
